Lets say one bank closes your account due to overdraft that hasn’t been paid and they report you to the credit bureau that regulates banks which means you can’t open another account.

But you still have 10 other bank accounts with other banks…. do they get closed too?

What bank account can wire money to an external bank without knowing the two small deposits or login?

I am trying to send money to different people in my family from the internet. I am looking for what Bank will allow for ACH transfers or direct wiring of money to another bank account without having to supply the “two small deposits” or knowing the login information of the payee. I just want to be able to wire money to any bank account/routing number without having to go through a verification process. Does anyone know a bank that makes this process easy?

I want to switch from Citibank to a new bank in Chicago. I live downtown and there are so many options. There are very large banks, such as Chase, and then there are smaller banks, such at Fifth Third Bank. All I need are a checking account and a savings account. Any suggestions?

How does online banking work. Does my bank print a check and mail it to the payee?

Or is money wired to the payee from my bank? Doesn’t online banking cost the bank money? How come banks don’t charge for this service. I’m not naive I know they pass on the cost to me but how?Submited by:HSB

How long does a bank keep records of your financial transactions?

I got into an argument with my friend as to how long a bank keeps records of your purchases.

How long does a bank (in this case People’s Bank) keep records of your transactions.

For example if I made a purchase today, how long would People’s Bank keep a record of that transaction?
